I lead the RocMob at Auburn University, a research group focused on cooperation and organizational behavior in modern work environments (RocMob: Research on cooperation and modern organizational behavior). Organizational theory on cooperation was developed by studying face-to-face, manufacturing-style work arrangements. The RobMob examines how contemporary work environments (e.g., remote jobs, asynchronous teamwork, algorithms and AI-supported teams) influence employees’ abilities to cooperate, support one another, and remain productive.
